All-Star Slam Dunk Contest Best Dunk
Anyone thinks there was a better dunk last night?
Second Half Surge
Many team are having a successful season so far such as the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the surprising San Antonio Spurs. Which teams need to improve? Well, the Knicks have to continue the momentum they have with the emergence of Jeremy Lin as their starting point guard. Other teams such as Memphis Grizzles needs to show what they are capable of against the rest of the elite Western Conference teams. Once Zach Randolph is healthy, the Memphis Grizzles with the a force to be reckon with his return. A deep roster including O.J. coming off the bench and Marc Gasol and Rudy Gay having to handle the scoring load. The eighth spot is hard to grab considering many teams chasing for that spot such as the Pheonix Suns and the Golden State Warriors.
Speaking of the Golden State Warriors, the roster they have is acceptable of competing for a playoff spot as well. With Nate Robinson and Klay Thompson coming off the bench, they have a solid bench and also a solid coach of Marc Jackson. Not a bad team to root for when they have Monte Ellis and Stephon Curry running the show. All they need is a big man such as DeAndre Jordan who the Warriors were trying to lure but remained with the L.A. Clippers. Going back to teams that improve, the Boston Celtics are struggling due to injuries from Rajan Rondo and the absence of Jeff Green (health problem). There are other teams in my mind that need to reshape but let's enjoy the show at the All-Star game.

All-Star Weekend in Orlando: Too Much Hype?
We expected much more last night from the All-Star Weekend. The slam dunk contest seemed pretty dull except a few of the dunks from Paul George and Jeremy Evans. Not sure about this but most of us would like to see a dunk contest featuring stars such as Lebron James and Blake Griffin. We saw Griffin last year but when is Lebron going to back up his talk? Could it be next year at Houston?

Kevin Durant Career High 51 points
It's amazing at the point of his basketball career to have just 51 points as a scorer. Don't forget about Russell Westbrook who had 40 points in the game as well. James Harden struggled on the floor but if two of these players have a decent game like today, then they'll be fine.

Spurs Going For 10th Straight Win
We all know the Knicks 7 game winning streak ended but the San Antonio Spurs quietly are going to a 10th straight season. It's not surprising how well they're doing once Manu Ginoboli was reinserted into the starting lineup. The Western Conference better watch out as they climb into the 2nd spot behind the Oklamhoma City Thunders.
Bismack Biyombo Season high 7 Blocks
With the Charlotte Bobcats struggling, it seeming to become a rebuilding season with young players starting with Bismack Biyombo. Starting as center over Bryon Mullens, the Charlotte Bobcats choose a more defensive minded player, Biyombo who recorded 7 blocks. D.J. Augustin came back and had 10 assists to go along with 11 points as they defeated the Toronto Raptors with the score of 98-91 on the road.
