MIP (Most Improved Player) Update

Rumors of the Jeremy Lin show are indeed true, even President Obama is talking about "Linsanity". Believe it or not, it isn't a dream. With the New York Knicks on a 6 game winning streak, Jeremy Lin is my guy for the Most Improved Player award. There are also a couple of players out there competing for the title as well. We start out with Marcin Gortat, the big man who played behind All-Star Center Dwight Howard. He is averaging around 15 points and 10 rebounds per contest proving he can cherish in Alvin Gentrys system. Not far behind is James Harden whose carrying the scoring load when Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are not on the floor. His scoring went up because the Thunder needs him to step up and play a bigger role when the starts are resting. Other two people who I believe should be on the list are Anderson Varejao who has been active when he's playing and doing all the dirty work and Bryon Mullens who similar to Jeremy Lin's case but not having the impact near what's Lin having on the Knicks.
